Chaplain Response provides training, equipping, support, and fellowship for current and potential Chaplains who are Christian. Through our affiliation with Summit Bible College, coursework and certification programs thoroughly prepare chaplains in the fundamentals necessary for effective work in the ‘ministry of presence’. Summit Bible College has specific courses for Prison Chaplaincy, Hospital Chaplaincy, Emergency Response Chaplains, and more. We feature a Certification in Chaplaincy, and Summit Bible College, for those interested in a degree program, offer Associates up to the Doctoral Level.
We also provide training and certification in Clinical Pastoral Education that qualify Chaplains to work full-time at hospitals or other institutions requiring Clinical Pastoral Education credits, such as prisons.
Chaplain Response supports and nurtures chaplains as they grow in areas of personal development. Our purpose is to help Chaplains deal with any crisis or trauma that they may encounter. We provide on-scene counseling services for the public and for chaplains after critical incidents. Our monthly meetings and an annual conference offers support and comradery for chaplains.
